Mrs. Washington Jones Crazy?

In a way Mrs. Washington Jones is crazy from my point of view. The last thing I would do is bring in the guy to my house who just attempted to rob me. That would be the last thing on my mind besides trying to get away from him as far as possible. Though she got very lucky on that one, since the boy didn’t seem very dangerous. Things like that wouldn’t cut into day’s world. Though she did seem like a very assertive type of person. She seems like the person that you don’t want to back talk to, or you’ll get an ear full of her. Why I also think she’s crazy is that she gave him 10 bucks to buy his blue swede shoes. That makes no sense at all. You let the kid stay around for a while, you feed, and then you kick him out. Though that’s not the case with her. It didn’t make a lot of sense at all. Those are my reasons, of why I think she is crazy.

There were some bad things he did to doodle, though you also have to see the good things about it. He did some a lot of things that showed him that he had love towards his little brother. In the beginning he was determined to teach his little brother to learn how to walk. Though he was kind of tired and embarrassed that he had to pull his 5-year-old brother in a little cart that didn’t know how to walk. The narrator also said that everywhere he went that he had to take Doodle with him. That was only his only intention for him really for Doodle to walk. Though he did put in the time an effort for teaching Doodle to walk. So that really shows that the narrator does love Doodle, but the narrator, thought that he did out of shame.

Though he is mean to him when he shows him the coffin that his parent built for him. The narrator threatens him by leaving him there in the barn unless Doodle touched the coffin. Though when they were leaving the barn Doodle assures the narrator that to never abandon him ever again. It kind of seemed unnecessary to scare Doodle like that, so that would be another bad thing that the narrator has done to Doodle.

So it’s kind of even whether the Narrator does love his little brother Doodle or not. Though he has done all those things to help Doodle through his struggling life so, in my opinion I think the Narrator does love Doodle.
