Throughout the whole entire story there was on main lesson. That was to never give up. There was always one intention Odyssey had and that was going home. He never gave up even though he had a few bumps in the road. He had to go through the Cyclops and had to use his wits and keenness to get pass him. Though he lost a few men to the Cyclops since he ate them. There were also somethings that he didn't really have to do. He didn't need to listen to the sirens and put himself in danger. Though he got lucky getting past them and being the only one to ever her the Sirens. He also faced the Whirlpool Charybdis and Scylla the 6 headed monster. He did have 6 of his men killed but just so he could get home though. He also wasted a bunch of time being on Calypso's Island. He didn't have much of a choice though. He faced many other challenges and made it in the end and killed all the suitors. This would be a superb lesson in the Odyssey.

Telemachus

Towards the end of the story being in Telemachus shoes would be tough. Having no control over anybody and having the suitors going after your own mother. He had no power over the suitors and they all barged in and lived in his house. Having them taunt you, and mock you for just about 20 years. You would probably think he would take action and have them leave. It's even worse when your father is the lord of Ithaca. Although towards the beginning of the end he does find Odysseys his father. He then brings his father to his castle (while he looks like a beggar). Telemachus is in rage and wants to kill them all at once. Odysseus says wise piece of information “Use your anger at the right time, now is not the time.” Later Telemachus fights one of the suitors and backs down. He remembers Odysseus saying not to use his anger towards them now. At the very end Odysseus shoots the arrow through the twelve axes and appears at his present age. He then exchanges word with the suitors. He then now tells Telemachus to go all out on them. They all kill the suitors and it all ends well for Telemachus in the end.

Trimester 1 expections

In my own opinion I thought that all of it was fair this trimester. There wasn't to much homework. The activities you planned were always fun. I thought it was very balanced throughout the whole entire trimester.
